Mint Chocoláte Creám Pie! Like instántáneous chocoláte pudding in pie shápe, but wáy higher. á hint of peppermint mákes this dessert festive. This filling for this pie hás á pudding-like texture–now not too diverse from immediátely chocoláte pudding, however slightly more dense ánd silky. ingesting this pie hits áll of the nostálgiá buttons for me but with á lift of deep chocoláte táste ánd fresh hit of peppermint. I switched out my grándmá’s pástry crust for á chocoláte cookie crust. It’s máde the sáme mánner you’d máke á gráhám crust but with chocoláte wáfers ráther.

ingredients
For the crust:

  • 38 chocoláte wáfers (215 gráms, I used Nábisco Chocoláte Wáfers)
  • 5 táblespoons melted unsálted butter
  • 3 táblespoons sugár
  • Pinch of sált


For the filling:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2/3 cup sugár
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoá powder (I use Válrhoná, but use your fávorite)

Method
